Our vision is simple, but enormous. Our vision is the glory of God for all eternity through the faithful obedience and love of His church. It is summarized in three simple words: GLORIFY, GROW, GIVE. We GLORIFY Christ through worship by exalting the Savior, enjoying the Spirit and entreating the Father. We GROW in Christ through discipleship by evangelizing the lost, equipping the saved and encouraging obedient holiness. We GIVE to Christ through service by entrusting earthly treasures, exploring spiritual gifts and engaging in ministry service. These three key words guide each member through simple and successive stages of commitment as they mature into faithful disciples of Christ. God’s eternal purpose is for the church to be the display of God’s glory on earth and in heaven (Ephesians 3:10-11). Ministry is about the church fulfilling the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:37-39) and the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20). We are to love God wholeheartedly and love people unconditionally. We are to make disciples of all nations by going out into the world, evangelizing the lost and teaching the saved to be obedient. At Berry Road Baptist Church, we are committed to be faithful, obedient, loving and joyful disciples of Christ. Ephesians 4:7-16 is the blueprint for authentic church growth. Jesus has gifted His church with ministers of the Word “for the equipping of saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ.” True church growth happens as God calls gifted men into ministry who then devote their lives “to equip the saints” so that the entire body is grown toward the fullness of Christ's maturity. Love is the binding principle that establishes growth. We believe this is God’s philosophy of ministry and vision for church growth, and the staff at Berry Road Baptist Church are committed to being joyfully obedient to it! Come join us in the journey!
